The school day timings for all students are:
Years 7 – 11 (total for a typical week 32.9 hours)
Tutor Time: 08:35am – 09:00am
Period 1 – 09:00am – 10:00am
Period 2 – 10:00am – 11:00am
Break – 11:00am – 11:25am
Period 3 – 11:25am – 12:25pm
Lunch – 12:25pm – 13:10pm
Period 4 – 13:10pm – 14:10pm
Period 5 – 14:10pm – 15:10pm
During the GCSE exam period of between 30th April 2024 and 19th June 2024, our school day changes, swapping period 4 and lunch. This allows for afternoon exams to run without being disturbed. New times are above.
Students are requested not to arrive before open times.
Lunch and breaktime
Students can bring their own packed lunch or buy food from the canteen. Alongside meals, students can also enjoy a variety of lunchtime activities. These include football, basketball and other sports clubs, plus a range of study support clubs, such as Art and Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
