Curriculum Intent
The Geography department at Rockwood Academy is committed to allowing students to discover and apply the knowledge they have achieved to help them become global citizens, environmentalists and scientists by helping them to understand the human impacts on the environment and the places around them.
- To provide students with opportunities to understand the world around them, the challenges it faces and their place within it.
- To enable students to be globally and environmentally informed, thoughtful and enquiring citizens
- To provide opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom.
